Airealism at Shunt

For its first outing at Shunt, Airealism took an experimental collection of aerial performances beneath the brick arches of the London Bridge vaults.

Four figures glowed under UV light as they shifted through shapes on trapeze, a businessman took a dramatic plunge on silks, and an evil, disjointed doll came to life on hoop. A gothic trio of rope artists took things somewhere stranger still, in a cabaret that Time Out described as “unfeigned avant-gardism”.
