A detective is hired by a mysterious syndicate to investigate a murder. The trail leads through rain-soaked streets, past molls and gangsters, where card games unfold high above the action and the case draws him deeper into the shadows of classic film noir.
NOIR used aerial circus, physical theatre, movement and character to tell the story. Airealism's first large-scale ensemble production premiered at The Albany in 2007, before later versions were staged at Glastonbury Festival and Edinburgh Fringe.
